I approach life visually, keeping journals of words and sketches that are ultimately translated through layers of ephemera, paint, various mediums, and texture. These chronicled pages may come from my past, present or daydreams of my future. My feelings and experiences, whether I have channeled them from dark or bright places, actual occurrences or my beliefs and thoughtful what-ifs become a new story told through rescued discarded vintage photos placed in my mixed media landscapes.
